Born of a three-way collaboration between Casio, Nissan, and NISMO, this limited-edition timepiece honors all that NISMO, Nissan’s works team, has achieved since its founding in 1984.

This sharp and striking timepiece incorporates eye-catching features like the original NISMO logo and a dial and band in the works team’s vivid tricolor design. The blue and red of the tricolor scheme is echoed on the underside of the band, and the stripes of the original NISMO uniform are reproduced on the band loop. The band is also printed with the names of NISMO champions between 1984 and 1997, paying tribute to both the celebrated race cars and the team that brought them to glory.

The logo at the top center of the dial glows in the dark, reminiscent of the fluorescent car numbers used by the Group C race cars that would speed through the black of night during 24-hour endurance races. A unique wristwatch take on the orange windshield banner of the Nissan Skyline R32 adds a singular touch to the dial design. Inspired by the color scheme of the original NISMO logo used from 1984 to 1997, the red, blue, and white tricolor recalls legendary works machines like the R91CP, which claimed the first victory for a Japanese car at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1992. The color scheme brings back the bold presence NISMO made known worldwide.

Memorial design honoring racing legends

The band is printed with the chassis codes of past race cars that earned titles while bearing the original NISMO logo, celebrating the proud history of the first era of NISMO (1984–1997). At the tip of the band is a special design inspired by the koinobori carp streamer — a fan-favorite motif shown at May races in Japan. The design is filled with subtle details sure to delight NISMO enthusiasts.

A tribute to the legendary Calsonic Skyline

A subtle but singular detail pays homage to the R32 Skyline GT-R — the iconic Calsonic Skyline that dominated the racing scene of the 1990s in its striking blue racing livery. The word “SAPPHIRE,” referencing the watch crystal, is styled in a color and a font that recall the car’s windshield decal, capturing the spirit of the original machine.

The band design draws inspiration from racing suits worn in endurance races during the 1980s, which featured the original NISMO logo.
