Introducing the full-metal chronograph addition to the continually evolving 2100 line of timepieces which inherit the legacy of the first-ever G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C. We take it way back with the octagonal bezel and dimpled band design of the original from 1983, but all done in metal with stainless-steel case, bezel, and band. Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the bezel and the case for a shock-resistant structure with a full-metal exterior. The bezel — formed three-dimensionally in a time-consuming forging, cutting, and polishing process — is finished beautifully with a circular hairline treatment on the top surface and mirror polish on the slopes. The delicate molding and vapor deposition of Casio ultra-precision processing technologies add sophistication and quality to the indexes and inset dial rings. The screw-lock crown is designed in the same octagonal shape as the bezel for a more compact case with no sacrifice in outstanding G-SHOCK shock resistance. High-density mounting keeps the module slim, while still providing the advanced functions you love in a compact profile and comfortable fit. Pairs with a smartphone via Bluetooth®. The inset dial ring at the 9 o’clock position features a design motif inspired by the iconic octagonal bezel of 2100 Style watches. Sophisticated metal form created with precision crafting

Undergoing multiple meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing, the bezel and case are precisely crafted down to the intricately shaped back, which is the key to the precision fit. The bezel shines with an attractive circular hairline finish on its top surface. The band, which reproduces the dimpling of the very first G-SHOCK band, but now in metal, offers enhanced textures by using differentiated hairline and mirror finishes.

Full metal shock-resistant structure: Delivering both strength and beauty

The watch is guarded by a full metal exterior, with stainless steel material used for the bezel, case, and band. Fine resin buffering components are installed between the bezel and case to help absorb impacts to the module. Additionally, a three-pronged structure is employed for the lugs on the case to disperse shock to the connective part of the band.

Slim design achieved with high-density mounting

Employing a slim module, the watch maintains the same sense of size as the previous GM-B2100 while offering a multi-hand dial, wider range of functions, and full-metal construction. While delivering high utility with Smartphone Link and solar-powered functionality, the GMC-B2100 offers a comfortable fit on the wrist, as well.

Octagonal screw-lock crown for a powerful sense of presence

The side of the case is fitted with a crown to complement the fully analog face design. The crown features a screw-lock construction and the same octagonal shape as the bezel, adding a powerful sense of presence to the full-metal form of the watch. This original structure delivers a more compact form while maintaining the same shock resistance.
